Field & Shell Dressing

Field Dressings

The photograph shows the layout of the medicated dressing where the pad is fully of gauze and no cotton at all. Pad size 4" * 4" stitched to a bandage having size of 6 cm * 2.5 mtr treated with chlorozol brown. The gauze pad is fully treated with acriflavine. Field dressing is packed first in butter paper and finally placed in polythene jacket. We use double jacket as a protective measure fully airtight and fully waterproof. Used by soldiers in the front-line as first-aid against minor injury. Direction for use printed on product label.

Shell Dressings

Shell dressing is a medicated dressing having cotton- wool pad 6" * 8" and then wrapped with gauze treated with acriflavine and then stitched to a bandage 4" * 4 mtrs. treated with chlorozol brown. Compressed and then packed in butter paper and finally placed in polythene jacket. We use double jacket as a protective measure fully airtight and fully waterproof. Direction for use printed on each product label. Used by soldiers in the front-line in case of major injury and bleeding and an emergency dressing.

Combined Dressing

Combined Dressing (Cotton & Gauze Tissue) is a ready made dressing with combination of cotton and gauze. These combined dressings are generally in sizes of 4" * 10 mtr or 8" * 10 mtr and surgeons cut out the required portion as per needed.
